These Terms of Service govern your use of LongDistanceCarService.com and transportation services offered by Long-Distance Car Service. By using the website, requesting a quote, or booking a ride, you agree to these Terms.
Operator and Scope
The website and service are operated by Long-Distance Car Service. These Terms apply to website use, quote requests, booking communications, fixed-price route information, custom quotes, and transportation services provided or arranged by Long-Distance Car Service.
Route Pricing and Quotes
Published prices for main routes are intended for standard, direct, fixed-price trips between the listed pickup and destination areas, subject to availability and written confirmation. Listed prices may not apply to unusual pickup locations, additional stops, route changes, wait time, special timing, seasonal conditions, tolls, parking, cleaning needs, or other trip details outside the standard route assumptions.
If your desired trip is not listed, includes extra stops, or requires non-standard service, you may request a custom route quote. A custom route quote is not binding until it is confirmed in writing by Long-Distance Car Service.
Booking Confirmation
Submitting a quote request, sending a message, or viewing a route price on the website does not create a confirmed booking. A ride is booked only after Long-Distance Car Service accepts the trip and the booking is confirmed in writing. Written confirmation may include email, text message, invoice, receipt, or another written communication from us.
Deposits, payment timing, cancellation terms, refunds, wait time, route changes, pets, luggage, cleaning needs, and unusual trip details may be handled in the written booking confirmation for your specific ride.
Payments
You agree to pay all confirmed charges for your ride, including any amounts described in the booking confirmation. Payments may be processed by a third-party payment processor. If a payment fails or is disputed, we may cancel, suspend, or decline service until the payment issue is resolved.
Cancellation, Refund, and Dispute Policy
- Customer cancellations made at least 48 hours before scheduled pickup are eligible for a full refund.
- Customer cancellations made 24-48 hours before scheduled pickup are eligible for a 50% refund.
- Customer cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled pickup are not refundable.
- No-show bookings are non-refundable after a 20-minute grace period unless Long-Distance Car Service agrees otherwise in writing.
- If Long-Distance Car Service cancels because of weather, safety, road conditions, vehicle issue, driver availability, or another operational reason, the customer may choose a full refund or reschedule.
- Route, pickup, destination, timing, stop, passenger, pet, luggage, or wait-time changes after booking may require repricing and written approval.
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Approved refunds are submitted promptly, but bank or card processing time may vary.
- Customers should contact hello@longdistancecarservice.com or (385) 490-7916 before filing a payment dispute.
- If a card dispute is filed, Long-Distance Car Service may provide booking confirmations, receipts, cancellation records, messages, service records, and policy screenshots to Stripe or card networks.
Passenger Responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup, destination, timing, passenger, pet, and luggage information.
- Be ready at the agreed pickup time and location.
- Use seat belts and follow reasonable driver safety instructions.
- Do not bring unlawful items or engage in unsafe, abusive, disruptive, or illegal conduct.
- Leave the vehicle in substantially the same condition as when the ride began.
We may refuse or end service when safety, legality, vehicle condition, payment, or passenger conduct creates a reasonable concern.
Service Changes and Delays
Long-distance transportation can be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, vehicle issues, emergencies, law enforcement activity, public safety conditions, and other circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide dependable service, but pickup times, arrival times, routes, and vehicle assignments are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in a written booking confirmation.
Website Use
You may use the website only for lawful personal or business travel inquiries. You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or copy content at scale, misuse forms, submit false information, or use the website in a way that harms Long-Distance Car Service or others.
Intellectual Property
The website, brand name, logo, text, images, design, and other content are owned by or licensed to Long-Distance Car Service and may not be copied, modified, distributed, or used commercially without written permission, except as allowed by law.
Disclaimers and Liability
The website is provided without any promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Long-Distance Car Service disclaims implied warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from website use, quote requests, or services, except where such limits are prohibited by law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Utah unless applicable law requires another forum.
